Acceptance letters were sent out yesterday right? That means we should be getting them today? Can't wait for the mail!

You should get your notifcation by Friday at the latest. Registration starts next Monday, Mar 28. It looks like waitlists are starting to build.

PS 107 in Park Slope has 47 applicants on the waitlist.
PS 290 has 68 zoned students on its waitlist.
PS 199 has 58 students on its waitlist.
PS 87 has 28 zoned students on the list.
PS 234 has 35 students on waitlist

MSC (P.S. 333) posted their lottery results on their website. You've probably checked already but in case you didn't, take a look:

I found these figures from the WSJ article "An Unhappy Rite of Spring: The Wait List (http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704517404576223151788692820.html)" over the weekend:

PS 169 (Sunset Park, Brooklyn) has 95 students on waitlist.
PS 143 (Corona, Queens) has 72 students on waitlist.
PS 307 (Corona, Queens) has 79 students on waitlist.
PS 234 (Tribeca, Manhattan) has 37 students on waitlist.

My friend told me Muscuta New School (PS 314) in District 6 has 63 on the waitlist.

NYC DOE released data on kindergarten waitlists for this year. Over 150 school have a waitlist with a total of 3,195 kids on the waitlist. Of the total, 2,600 children are waitlisted for kindergarten at their zoned school while the rest are waiting for spots at an out-of-zone school.
