I've heard through the grapevine that admissions directors will sometimes go to preschools to observe applicants. Can somebody tell me which applicants actually get observed and do their parents get a heads up?

For what it's worth, I've had a couple friends told me the DOAs went to their child's preschool to observe them. The kids were on the cusp of the too young cutoff so the DOAs wanted to see how they interacted in a familiar environment. The parents knew ahead of time that the DOAs were going to do that.
