We will be moving to the Peninsula (probably somewhere around San Mateo) this summer and I need to find a pre-K for my twins (will be 4 this April). I'm looking for a play-based program, Reggio-inspired, or the like in the area that offers full-day options. I'm not interested in Montessori schools.

So far, I've looked up the Peninsula JCC, Serendipity, and a couple others.

Would love any and all recommendations as well as any info about the above mentioned two preschools.

Thank you so much in advance!
Tina :)

We have friends who live in Burlingame that send their kids to Peninsula Temple Sholom. They really like it. They also looked at First Presbyterian. Neither is Montessori.

Also, if you're looking at pre-K and perhaps considering private school for K and beyond, the ones to look at would be Carey, Nueva and St. Matthews Episcopal.
