Feedback on Synergy?

How do Synergy parents like the school and the progressive philosophy? A little concerned that the school approach may be a bit out there for us but at $14,100, the school is one of the very few privates that we might be able to afford.

The school has such a warm cozy feel. It's like a preschool coop but in a grade school setting. We love how all the teachers are involved in running the school and all the administrators are involved in teaching. Parents are actively involved and really tight. You also won't find the level of student diversity at Synergy at any other private school. GL!

Thanks for the feedback. We're very interested in the school. The one thing that I'm trying to wrap my arms around is the mixed class for two years. How do Synergy parents feel about that? Also, how well does the school prepare their kids for the next level?

I know there's been some chatter about the academic rigor of the school. Please do not pay attention to the misinformation you may have read somewhere else. Synergy kids are well prepared for high schools. All of the Synergy grads I've met speak highly of how the school readied them not just for the academic aspect but also the social aspect of high school and beyond.
