Dear all,

The school lottery results are just about to get send out and as much
as we hope all of you will receive great news and can enroll
your kids in the schools of your preferred choices, there might be
some parent who are not as happy with the result of the lottery
drawing.

For all those parents who receive a placement that seems unacceptable
we would like to put out the information that GISSV, the German
School of Silicon Valley, with a new K-5 Campus in the Presidio, still
has openings for K-2, for the school year 2012-2013. GISSV offers an
excellent bilingual, German-English education and financial aid is
available.

The language concept of the GISSV Kindergarten and Elementary School
is based on the principle of the dual immersion method. This method
offers the children an effortless, natural language acquisition in
both German and English. We welcome both German and non-German
speaking families, as well as anyone interested in a high quality
bilingual education.

Our comprehensive entry level not only guarantees individualized
learning support, but also a gentle and appropriate transition from
Kindergarten to Elementary School, enabling self-determined,
cooperative, and successful learning.

All interested families are cordially invited to join us for an
orientation meeting on March 23 from 8:30am to 11am at 4 Funston Ave, San Francisco, CA 94129. Information can also be found at
www.gissv.org (http://www.gissv.org/) and we can be contacted by phone at 650-254-0748 (tel:650-254-0748) or viaemail at office@gissv.org.
