Hey fellow dads and moms,
Any ideas on how to get feedback or insight on how the assessments/child visits are going? We've taken our son to several already and can't get a read on how they're going ... do you think PSDs would get feedback if we ask or is it all "top secret" for now?
Are you getting any insight from your kids directly???

Hi boydaddy,
The playdates and the assessments are definitely the big mysteries of the process. It's nearly impossible to find out how your son did. It's like pulling teeth trying to get details from your kid when they come back from school, much less these sessions.
Unless a child is really out of character during the playdates, the admissions directors will probably keep the info to themselves. If something out of the ordinary did happen, the ADs may call to ask the PSDs why the child might behave like that. You can try to ask your PSD about how the playdates are going but I'm not sure you'll get much info.
I know this is not necessarily the answer you're hoping for but thought I'd share what I know to help in any way.

If your child did exceptionally well on the screening, sometimes the AD will share that with the parents.
