By the time the second round is all done, Hunter will have several pieces of data about each child: SB score, tester's report to the school, playdate info, parents observation form and preschool observation form. Does anyone know how the school uses or prioritizes all that data to make the admissions decisions?

I don't think anybody knows other than Hunter admissions staff themselves. But based on this statement on Hunter's site "Selection is primarily determined by the observations collected during Round 2. ", I would have to guess the key factors they consider would be the playdate followed by the preschool observation and then parents' observation.

Does that mean the Stanford Binet test score goes out the window in the decision process? That doesn't seem fair to the kids who scored higher than the ones who just made the cutoff.
