Does Size Matter?

I really like the smaller schools for K - 8. Now that the applications are in & the dust has settled, I'm wondering if anyone can share thoughts or firsthand experience about the size of a school and any good/bad impact it has had on your children.

I think this is child specific. Which also means, if you have more than one child, different schools may be a better ft. I personally liked the smaller K-8 schools better specifically PHS and Kittredge. I just feel they are more comfortable, less competitive (which I see as a plus) and there is a better connection/communication between the adminstration, the teachers and the students as a result of the size. The word cozy comes to mind. As for education, the parents I have talked to of older children all thought the schools have been great and kids go to the same SF highschools that kids of other larger indpendent K-8s attend.
