I just started researching summer camps for our 5 year old and am a little overwhelmed. Could anyone share their recent experiences with summer camps in SF and what you & your kids liked about them?

If your 5 year old is musically inclined, take a look at these music camps:

How about Nature Nurture in the Presidio? Our son had a great time there exploring and hiking at the camp.

I live in the Peninsula, and my kids liked Camp Galileo (http://www.signupforcamp.com/camp/camp-galileo/brandeis-hillel-day-school-san-francisco-ca-2/) (locations in SF, Marin, East Bay, South Bay) at that age. The staff is great (adults and college kids who really like to have fun and make the kids feel comfortable). We are giving away a free week of summer camp (http://signupforcamp.us1.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=02fe2fda2810f341bcfb8ccd2&id=61c949af55) at Camp Galileo (preK-5th grade) or Galileo Summer Quest (5-8th grade) on our website Sign Up For Camp. Enter by April 30, 2011 (http://signupforcamp.us1.list-manage.com/subscribe?u=02fe2fda2810f341bcfb8ccd2&id=61c949af55) for a chance to win.

There are also lots of camp reviews (http://www.signupforcamp.com) and interviews with camp directors on our blog (http://blog.signupforcamp.com/).
