H.A.I. (Healing Arts Initiative) is a non-profit organization founded in 1969, which provides cultural access through music, dance, theater and the visual arts, reaching out to the frail elderly, mentally and physically disabled, seriously ill children at health and social service facilities, and youth in grades K – 12.

As a part of our summer program, in partnership with the DYCD (Department of Youth and Community Development), we are offering a Free Summer Camp at P.S. 288 in Coney Island. The program will run for 4 weeks, beginning July 8th, 2013 and concluding on August 1st, 2013. The camp will provide specialized NYC high school test prep, along with theater, dance, music, visual arts/photography, and cooking workshops. Daily lunches will be provided to all camp attendees, courtesy of the NYC-DOE.
