    San Francisco Public School Enrollment Highlights 2014

    SFUSD has released highlights from the March 2014 Assignment Run for the 2014-15 School Year:

    Some highlights from the data:

    Kindergarten
    • 4,616 kindergarten applications compared to 4,968 last year
    • 87% of kindergarten applicants (4,017) received one of their choices compared to 85% last year (4,232)
    • 60% of kindergarten applicants (2,785) received their first choice compared to 61.2% last year (3,040)

    6th Grade
    • 3,364 6th grade applications compared to 3,484 last year
    • 86% of 6th grade applicants (2,890) received one of their choices compared to 83% last year (2,894)
    • 69% of 6th grade applicants (2,418) received their first choice compared to 70% last year (2,418)
    Most Requested Programs:
    Giannini (1206 non-sibling / 1268 total)
    Presidio (1159 non-sibling / 1208 total)
    Aptos (1074 non-sibling / 1119 total)
    Hoover (966 non-sibling / 1008 total)
    Roosevelt (835 non-sibling / 867 total)

    Thanks for this. I wish SFUSD would also show how many CTIP1 requests there were for each school so we know how many real non-sibling spots were available.
