    Citywide gifted schools-- class size?

Does anyone know or have experience with how big class sizes get in the citywide gifted schools at the elementary level? Particularly after kindergarten (since K classes seem all to get up to 25)
If you have info, please let us know school, grade, and number of students e.g. something like "Anderson, 1st grade, 30 students"
Wondering if particular citywide schools max out their class sizes whereas others keep to it as low as possible...
    Thanks in advance!

Hi dwtnmama, the DOE has this information on their website. You can download the spreadsheet here: http://schools.nyc.gov/AboutUs/schoo.../classsize.htm. Click on "detailed school level data." Scroll down or use the search function to find a specific school (it's a BIG spreadsheet).

Oh, yes-- thanks for the link, MBNar. I still think if folks want to chime in, that'd be great because the spreadsheet (info from last fall) is very unwieldy and DOE doesn't break-down citywide gifted as a category (as they do for schools by borough and district), so you really have to find each school/grade and then do your own comparison...

From NEST school tour, I remember they said it goes up to 29, and they cap it at that.
