What do you think the odds are of getting an offer while waitlisted?

  2. #72
Well, statistically it's ~1/325. We think. The seat count is ~250. An average year probably sees a movement of ~25. Some of those ~25 are already gone. Maybe that brings it between ~5/325 and ~10/325. But that math, even if accurate, may have no meaning.

Hi - did anyone hear of kids getting rejection letters?

  4. #74
Yes, we know a handful of kids who took the test and they all got rejection letters except my daughter (who is on the waitlist).

    Any known waitlist offers?

Definitely looking at diversity. Invitations for waitlisted spots are not lottery based

Did anyone end up getting in off the waitlist?

Looking at the directory, the 7th grade class looks very full - larger than it was when my kid was in 7th.

I'm guessing any spots from here on will be attrition spots...not impossible, but low odds.
