Seems like the state results finally came out yesterday. Wow, that too forever considering there was no written essays, it was just multiple choice. Pathetic. Goodbye de blassio and thanks for making the NYC public schools worse than when you started.
We had to request our child's official record from the school in order to see the results, and were given no explanation about how to read them or find information about it. Another parent in my child's class gave us these which were helpful:
Given these were optional last year and grades were pass-fail, are middle school admissions a true lottery this year? Or do first report card grades get massively overweighted...?
