2022-2023 Elementary NYC citywide G&T Lottery thoughts?

With nothing yet communicated by the DOE, what are your thoughts on the process for getting into one of the G&T elementary programs this year for Kindergarten? Will it be the same as last and be a lottery for Kindergarten only?

If so:

1. I am sure a majority of the seats will be for siblings
2. For the rest of us trying as first time parents what are our child's chances of winning this lottery if it does take place?

Discussing the lottery aspect of G&T admissions is IMO just too speculative, given things are so tight lipped and so we don't know its context.

As to the more general issue of the whole process for getting into one of the G&T elementary programs this year for Kindergarten, given nothing yet has been communicated from the DOE, we can only speculate here too. However, on this, given their non-statements and recent actions on other admissions issues, for instance the way HS admissions is going, my wild guess is that this indicates to me it will be more of the same.
