UWS Elementary Public Schools

Considering a move from private to public elementary schools on UWS. Looking for feedback on PS 166 vs PS 9. Would prefer a progressive learning environment but not completely 100% necessary. Would like academic rigor and strong teachers with project based learning. not sure if PS 166 will still have G&T obviously. What other strong contenders are there for UWS elementary schools? If any parent could speak to the quality of the teachers and principal at each of these schools or reco another I'd very much appreciate it. I welcome any current info as much of what I find online is dated. TIA.

which of the 2 are you zoned for? I believe admission to either will depend on your home address.
