    Requesting Help/Resources

    I'm a 5th grade student.

I've always been home schooled, but I'd really like to attend boarding school. My family is lower middle class, and I'm not sure if I'm talented enough to get a scholarship. I'd love to go to one of the schools recognized as 'the best,' but I'll also apply to several good schools that are more practical/easy to get in to.

I excel at STEM and writing, but I don't do sports and I'm very bad at music. So I'm a good student in the sense that I get good grades, but I don't have any extra-curricular activities to boast about. I know that high school is a while away from me, but I'd like to start preparing now so that I have a chance at places like Andover.

So do you have any tips/resources to help me?

I forgot to mention that I'm pretty individualistic/independent and good at teaching myself, so I'm not even sure if I'm the right 'fit' for boarding school.
